The Bothy is only a short five minute drive from Kelso and is the perfect base to explore the best of our beautiful Scottish Borders. As romantic cottages with hot tubs go- we think you will just love it! Enjoy cosy days by the log burning stove reading books from the in-built library, or breath-taking walks down by the riverside which are just a short stroll from the farm. There are plenty of lovely restaurants, cafes and coffee shops to tantalise your taste buds, and also some top notch takeaways for those nights where you just want to batten down the hatches.

Whether you plan to stay for your honeymoon, a birthday treat or perhaps to pop the question, we are here to make your stay magical. We even have the perfect wedding venue just a few miles away at Runningburn, if you also want to get married in Scotland!

Why not pack up the picnic hamper that is provided, and head out into the countryside to take in the stunning views and crisp fresh air?

For those looking for a more adventurous break, we have compiled a list of the best walks, cycle routes and sporting days right here.. Perhaps you love to golf and would enjoy nothing more than tee-ing up on the championship Schloss Roxburghe course which is a short ten minute drive away, or prefer the thrills and spills of mountain biking and would like to take on the trails at 7Stanes. If keeping your feet firmly on the ground is more your bag, then why not tackle some, or all, of the Borders Abbey Way which runs through the farm and takes in some of the most awe-inspiring scenery?
