Walking
From Kersmains you can join the Border Abbeys Way route along the riverside into Kelso. There are also many more wonderful walks which take in the Cheviot hills, The Eildon Hills and much more. One of our family favourites is the walk up Peniel Heugh to The Waterloo Monument and is just a short drive from Kersmains and Kelso.
