Holiday Cottages in the Scottish Borders
A very warm welcome to Kersmains, our family farm here in the beautiful Scottish Borders countryside.
We have two beautifully unique self catering holiday cottages for you to choose from, whether you are looking for a family-friendly country house where dogs are welcome, or a couple’s romantic boutique with hot tub.
Both The Lodge and The Bothy are set on our farm where you can meet the animals, watch the combine at harvest time or even lend a hand mucking out the stables- just make sure to pack your wellies!
Kelso is just a short five minute drive from the farm with its’ quaint cobbled market square, ancient abbey and unique shops and restaurants. You can also walk along the riverside from the farm into Kelso and refresh with a well earned drink in one of the bars or cafes!

The Bothy- Sleeps 2 with hot tub
The Bothy is our sumptuous boutique self catering cottage- exclusively for two. The ultimate romantic bolthole where you can enjoy complete peace and relaxation. With an en-suite kingsize bedroom, large library lounge with log burning stove and peaceful kitchen conservatory,
The Bothy offers couples the ideal rural retreat and is the perfect place for a honeymoon stay or other special occasion.
Step out onto the private decking area and sink into the hot tub complete with it’s very own Bluetooth sound system.
The Lodge- Sleeps 6 with hot tub
The Lodge is our stylish and spacious house for six.
Located in idyllic countryside and yet just minutes away from the pretty cobbled town of Kelso, this is the perfect base for families or groups of friends looking for the ideal Scottish get away. Dogs are welcome in The Lodge.
